STANDARDORUM is the independent consulting firm of Benoît MARCHAL, an engineer whose career has seamlessly combined cutting-edge technical expertise and international standardization, notably as an International Fellow Expert at Air Liquide. He also served as Quality and Regulatory Affairs Director for a medical device manufacturer (an Air Liquide subsidiary), mastering the full spectrum of regulatory responsibilities incumbent upon industry manufacturers.
His consulting activity is a direct continuation of this dual expertise. Recognized for his institutional independence, Benoît MARCHAL serves as Chairman of ISO/TC 121/SC 6 (Medical gas supply systems) until the completion of his 9-year tenure at the end of 2026.
In perfect alignment with these international standards, he chairs the French mirror committee AFNOR S92D (Medical gas pipeline systems) and leads the European working group CEN/TC 215/WG 3. He also previously chaired the AFNOR S90D committee (Anaesthetic and respiratory equipment).
